A bridge between NRIs and their relatives in India

Agewell Foundation has set up a nationwide network of volunteers for looking after relatives of NRIs, who are living alone in the country. Keeping in mind circumstances of NRIs and their concerns for elderly relatives, Agewell Foundation has devised a family support system model for elderly relatives living alone and keeps them physically as well emotionally safe and secured.

Agewell Foundation has also developed communication and healthcare modules for Elderly family members of NRIs. These modules have been developed by experienced and well-qualified professionals dealing with old age issues for many years.

What Agewell provides to them

  • Keep updated NRIs about the wellbeing of their elderly family members

  • Family support to elderly living alone by attaching a dedicated counselor to them as their convenience and requirement

A bridge between generations

With ever-increasing popularity of nuclear family system and today’s fast paced life style; generation gap has increased between the generation, which is making life of older persons very difficult and painful.

In the process of bridging the intergenerational gaps and developing better understanding between the generations, Agewell Foundation’s professionals have developed training and communication modules after extensive research.

These modules help the younger generations to understand their elders better. On the other hand with these modules older people can cope with various old age related problems.
